Mimi / 杨月潇 is a poet from Shanghai, in unconditional support of Palestinian liberation and resistance. Though they are currently studying in Providence, Rhode island, they are always dreaming their way back to the wide and holy Xiang river, where home always is.

They are a Best of the Net and Forward Poetry Prize Nominee, and their poems appear or are forthcoming in Palette Poetry, The Margins, Booth Journal, Cream City Review, and more, and have been recognized by the Alliance for Young Writers and Artists and the UK Poetry Society.

They like anti-imperialist filmmaking, mincho typography, love as the minimal form of communism, and industrial techno. They are currently interested in the inherent queerness of body horror, revolutionary woodblock printmaking, and cannibalism as a literary indicator of social paranoia.
