Mimi / 杨月潇 is a poet from Shanghai. Though they are currently studying in Providence, Rhode island, they are always dreaming their way back to the wide and holy Xiang river, where home always is.

They are a Best of the Net and Forward Poetry Prize Nominee, and their poems appear or are forthcoming in Palette Poetry, The Margins, Booth Journal, Cream City Review, and more, and have been recognized by the Alliance for Young Writers and Artists and the UK Poetry Society.

They like Third Cinema, mincho typography, and industrial techno. They are currently interested in the inherent queerness of body horror, revolutionary woodblock printmaking, and cannibalism as a literary indicator of social paranoia.
